Magnolia 'Olivia'

Magnolia acuminata var. subcordata 'Miss Honeybee' x Magnolia 'Gold Crown'

A cross made by Dr. August Kehr (USA in 1992), cultivated and selected by Philippe de Spoelberch at the Arboretum. It is one of the most deep yellow Magnolias in our collection and a sister seedling of Magnolia 'Daphne' and 'Green Bee', all three descendants of 'Gold Crown', the parent which gave them the deep yellow color. It is the most fastigiate selection of the August Kehr hybrids cultivated in Wespelaar.
